The Edge of Reality

 This painting has been living in my head for days and days. I have run along so many trails and paths, miles and miles, and in the process built up this image of life as we see it. I painted it very slowly having been aware of the process of it arriving in my mind. I saw it as something sharp and yet real. I painted it on a canvas 30" x 16" and I think I spent more time on this than I have spent on other paintings of a similar size. I like it and it speaks to me about urban and rural.
