Don't Look Back

This original abstract was painted after being prompted by a friend to consider the story of Lot and his wife. The story of them leaving Sodom and Gomorrah and being told not to look back. So I have called this abstract, “Don’t Look Back”.

 I have been painting a number of abstracts recently and have been told by many that they are different from my normal abstract work. I would say that what is different is the intensity of feeling during the painting of these.

I have been painting on acrylic paper rather than canvas. I have been painting smaller and so do not have to sustain the intensity for such a long period. Possibly this has attributed to the different feel to the  abstract I have been producing.

The abstract is mounted and can be purchased as mounted and unframed or can be framed in a frame that compliments the work.

The price quoted is for an unmounted painting. With the mount the painting is 16”x20”. Painted using acrylic paint.
