Handel - Water Music

An original abstract painting on canvas 16" x 20"

I seem to be at present in a frame of mind that wants to produce abstracts. having just completed a series of four based on Vivaldi - The Four Seasons, I thought I would continue to allow myself to be inspired by some of my favourite music. 

I listened to Handel - Water Music. The flow of the music seemed to fit my mood, maybe because I had just returned from running along the coastal path. 

 This abstract tries to capture the feeling of movement of water the little splashes and bubbles that it creates in the movement.
