Millport

I have never before attempted to paint a place I had never visited so found it a challenge when asked to do just that. A fair bit of research on the internet did two things. First it let me discover a little part of Scotland I have never seen, something I need to put to rights soon. I also found a number of images that inspired me. With this help I did my first sketches on my ipad. I am not guaranteeing that this is an exact image of the place I researched but it feels right. Would I do this again? I will leave the answer of that question until I find out what will be the end of the story of this painting.
