The Things That Make Memories

This is a simple acrylic abstract artwork. It leaves plenty of room for the viewer to fill the artwork with story. The title is there simply to give a little hint to what I was thinking of as I painted this work.

I was looking at a picture of a marathon I once took part in. As I looked I saw a small crowd of people in the background and began to wonder what they were saying, thinking and doing. As I thought this painting formed in my mind. 

The painting sold with five minutes of completion when I showed it on facebook. 

Painted on acrylic canvas board  the painting is 16" x20" in total.
