The Warrior Watches

Another in the series of The Warrior Paintings. I think maybe this will be the last. This time I thought I would paint one that was able to be framed so this is painted in acrylic on a canvas board. The Warrior Watches, but for what does he watch the return of his friend, his wife, his lover? Although he has his spear to hand there is no battle shield so we are forced to ask the question.
